COLM SKWIRBAT is an Irish songwriter and musician whose work draws on blues, folk, and Irish traditional music. His songs are driven by strong imagery and shifting perspectives, with the musical setting shaped by the story being told rather than any one fixed genre.

Playing on homemade cigar box guitars alongside acoustic and slide guitar, he performs both intimate, acoustic solo sets and high-energy blues-rock sets with his band. In a live setting, the emphasis is on groove, dynamics, and raw feel.

With influences ranging from Rory Gallagher to Leonard Cohen, SKWIRBAT sits in the space between guitar-led blues traditions and more story-driven, stripped-back performances.
